Nagbigay na ng statement ang dating modelo na si Deniece Cornejo sa muling pagbabasura ng Korte sa kanyang mga isinampang kaso laban sa actor-host na si Vhong Navarro.
Ayon sa aming nakalap na impormasyon nagpadala ng text message si Deniece Cornejo sa isang media outlet at tahasang ipinahayag ang pagkadismaya sa nangyari sa kanyang legal battle laban kay Vhong Navarro.
Dahil umano sa inilabas na desisyon ng korte, pakiramdam ni Deniece Cornejo na nawawala na ang justice system ng bansa.
“I’m surprised and more traumatized. The RTC and MTC took jurisdiction of the cases already and the cases are on trial already. Under normal circumstances, this is not supposed to happen. What happened to our justice system?”
Dagdag pa ni Deniece, “A woman who fought for her rights for 9 years and risked her safety and life, she means serious and seeking a fair justice."
Muli ring ipinagdidiinan ni Deniece Cornejo na hindi totoong paiba-iba siya ng statement dahil naging consistent naman umano siya mula sa umpisa.
“Given the evidence I presented and explained, I was very consistent and honest. I’m hoping that we must understand the pain and effects of trial by the publicity that brings to any young woman.”
Gayunpaman, wala pa ring balak na umatras si Deniece Cornejo dahil ilalaban pa rin niya ang kaso sa higher court.
