Malaki rin ang pasasalamat niya sa panibagong network na tumanggap sa kanya matapos ang pagkatigil ng Tropang LOL kung saan isa siya sa mga host.

Noon pa man ay naging usap-usapan na ang paglipat ni Matteo Guidicelli sa GMA7, naudlot lamang umano ito nang pansamantalang pinalitan niya si Billy Crawford na maging host sa Tropang LOL matapos nitong magpunta sa France para sa sinalihang competition.
Samantala, nauna nang naiulat ang pagiging host ni Matteo sa morning news show ng GMA7 na Unang Hirit.
