Naging matagumpay ang unang marathon na sinalihan ng Ms. Universe 2015 Queen na si Pia Wurtzbach sa New York. Kasunod nito ibinahagi ng beauty queen na sunod niyang target ang London Marathon sa susunod na taon.
Sa kanyang Instagram account ibinahagi ni Pia ang kanyang plano sa pagpapatuloy sa kanyang running lifestyle sa darating na taong 2023.
Sey ni Pia sa caption ng kanyang Instagram update nitong Linggo, “Discovering the world of running has opened my eyes to a new & bigger world where I met new people and it felt so good to be exposed to that. You need that: to expand your world cos you can’t get stuck in your own bubble and comfort zone.”
“In this marathon, I was with completely different people that had one common goal: to finish strong. I rediscovered a life that is much more than the four corners of a studio, the title you win from a pageant, or the number of likes on a post. Outside, real life is waiting for you and you just need to step out and take the first step. Totoo ‘yun,” pagpapatuloy nito.
Kalakip nito ay ang video ng kanyang treadmill excercise. Ibinahagi rin ni Pia na kailangan niyang magtrain upang mas mag-improve ang kanyang speed at strength para sa susunod niyang pagtakbo.
