Kathryn Bernardo Gaganap Bilang Comfort Woman Sa Elena 1944!

 Excited na ang aktres na si Kathryn Bernardo sa lahat ng bago at exciting na projects na nakatakda niyang gawin sa 2023. After turning 27 last March 26, open daw siya sa paggawa ng mas daring at mature roles onscreen.

“It feels the same. Same lang talaga (laughs). Simple lang naman talaga this year yung gusto ko but then this is like bonus pa kasi ang daming magagandang nangyari to start my 27th birthday."

“Maybe I’m really excited now kasi kakasimula pa lang, tapos ang dami na agad nangyayari and mangyayari this year until the next year. I’m just really overwhelmed and grateful na nandito yung mga taong gumagabay sa akin,” saad ni Kathryn Bernardo sa kanyang solo presscon.

Bukod sa pag-anunsyo ng kanyang unang movie project of the year under Star Cinema na A Very Good Girl kung saan makakasama niya ang internationally acclaimed actress na si Dolly de Leon, inihayag din ni Kathryn na gagawin din niya ang kanyang unang Black Sheep Productions project. 

Ang Black Sheep ay ang parehong kumpanya na responsable para sa iba pang mga sikat na pelikula tulad ng Exes Baggage , Alone/Together, Fan Girl, and Whether the Weather is Fine (Kun Maupay Man It Panahon).

“First time ito kasi through the years talaga I’ve been with Star Cinema and first time ako tatawid sa Black Sheep which is a sister company of Star Cinema. The title is Elena 1944 and it is with my deep pride and honor that this movie will be directed by Inang Olivia Lamasan,” pagbabahagi pa ng aktres.

Pagbabahagi pa ni Kathryn na una niyang narinig ang nasabing project noon pang 2019 nang ipresent ito sa kanya.

“This was pitched to me pre-pandemic. Matagal na. But then, nung pinitch yun sobrang ganda ng material. Pero siyempre nandun yung takot, medyo marami ka pang kailangan kausapin at i-consult kasi hindi pa ako sensitive at hindi pa ako ready for these kinds of roles.

“But then parang the universe made a way. So na-stop muna yung project and I was happy na hindi ko pa siya ginawa. Andun lang siya. And then pinitch nila ulit sa akin. And then fast forward, nandito tayo ngayon.”
